    After I did it increased to a blistering speed of 600b/sec

    If you are that close, hit pause for a few seconds, then resume and it should finish quickly :)

    today is such a great day! I got my badge for 25 insightfuls, for 100 agrees, and BG2EE was released. I could just hug you all, but I won't because thats not my style and not to mention you are across the internet from me

    Click on the "preloaded complete bar" and it'll start downloading!

    Oh. The beamdog launcher installed the game in a crappy location so I changed the default install directory in the client and it just deleted my newly downloaded BG2:EE. And it's 3am. That's a bit of a downer.

    Even without turbo, my download speed is hovering around ~110 kb/second. It's gonna be a while - how are people managing 1-2 mb/second!?!

    It was slow for me without turbo! Turning on turbo and then restarting the client made it much faster.

    played a bit made my character a totem druid :D and its time for bed ill play with a clear head. and it says boo will miss you YES, who ever kept that in there i love you

    I tried that - it actually seemed to make my download speed decrease. With turbo I was getting 60-80 kb/second. Without I'm managing 100-120 kb/second.

    Just curious, I've played so much BG2 in my life.. it might be the last clear I do, but i'd like to try out all 4 new characters. If i pick up all 4, is there a chance that they'll fight eachother or leave? Or did they make the new characters tolerate eachother?

    You should only turn off turbo if you get stuck like me at 99,9%, I think. I had a nice 1mb/s download rate before that happened.
