Similarly, a character with mind shield (greenstone amulet) active got the feeblemind icon on their portrait when hit by the Sirine's dire charm, although their intelligence was unaffected.
This may be intended behavior. At least, this is the way things were in the original BGs, IIRC.

For what purposes could this possibly serve? A reminder to the player that you failed your saving throw and would be effected by the spell if it weren't for the magical protection?
I remember this happening in BG2. I thought this was fixed in BGEE v1, but somehow it's bugged again in v1.2. The 3D effect above the targets' heads is unnecessary anyway, and it wasn't in Vanilla BG to begin with.
Someone has problems with map markes? Even from the start in candlekeep, I cannot change color of the default markes, I can delete the but when I add a new one after I cannot change color and the backspace in editing delete 2 chars instead of 1.. It's irritating because I usually keep a lot of notes even just to remember which house I need to send my thief next after skill upgrade

I don't think this is a bug, you start the game without powers, you get them gradually. Importing an exported character is kinda cheating.
Then its an intentional change in the latest patch. I wasn't really aware that it had been consciously altered, and so thought it was a bug.
Its just annoying because I developed a habit of re-importing characters mainly to mess around with their equipment and then exporting them again, but I realised after I'd done it that it had wiped all my Bhaalspawn powers so I had to add them all back with EEKeeper.
- screen scrolling to the left sometimes freezes - twice now, first in cloakwood, then in BG city, suddenly I couldn't scroll the screen to the left. I could scroll the map down/up/to the right just fine, but to the left, it wouldn't budge. Quicksave/load solved the problem.
- Disembodied screaming in the second level of Cloakwood mines. Ever since I entered the second level, (the one with ogre 'artist' and a chapel), to the moment I left, someone kept screaming for help. Every three seconds (I exaggerate not, EVERY - THREE - SECONDS) there was this desperate scream "AH, HELP!". I never found the mysterious screamer, even thought I killed/talked to everything that moved. Halfway through the map I started shouting "Shut the hell up" at the screen.
- Possibly related problem just a floor higher - before I entered the room where a mage and a dozen guards waited for me (behind a trapped corridor), I kept hearing a woman crying "Oh!" about a dozen times. She stopped after I started a fight with the guards. Since I later found a cook in a red dress, offering me a shag, I assumed it was just her getting busy with one of the soldiers. But maybe not.
- After we found Dorn's last betrayer and the demons were summoned, the game suddenly went into slow motion. Everything slowed down to a snail pace, and then went to normal after the first demon was killed. When I reloaded and re-did the battle, it went smoothly from start to finish, without special movie effects
- Journal is very broken. - you can edit entries created by game in 'journal' and the copied notes, but not your own entries. Once you create an entry in 'User' section, you're stuck with it and all the typos you notice afterwards, because you can edit all you want, but once you hit 'Done', all your changes are gone. - when you are first creating the entry, a small vertical stripe on the right is cut off, and you can't see the last letter of the last word in a row. (I tried to make screencaps, but for whatever reason it didn't work while in writing/editing mode). - when creating a new entry, it's hard to highlight a longer part of text you want to delete/copy/whatever, because the position of a mouse cursor does not correspond with the part of text being highlighted. Also, the writing cursor sometimes disappears. - when creating a new entry, you can only write one visible page, because the text doesn't scroll as you type beyond the bottom border. (Actually, you can type further, but you can't see what you're typing, and it's rather uncomfortable).
- the level of game addictiveness seems to have gone higher, but that might have been done on purpose.
Just quickly coming to my mind, only a few things i noticed so far ;
--a1. throwing weapons (throwing axes / daggers..) using DEX + _STR_ bonuses at same times for thac0 ? (was not the case with 2014 ; bug or new feature?!.. my ending game bgee bard blade with the throwing axe +2 -for exemple- has a nicely sick thac0 -for a bard- like that (thacO.6) - not even mentionning the damages /STR^-, especially after the ending bhaalspawn boost ability 19-->22 ST/DEX (thac0.4), and especially with offensive spin on top of that (thac0.2)!^ if that was a new feature would be cool for bg2ee lol..i would regreat even a little less the early point in axe..but i fear that's just a bug alas..*)) ) --a2. your familiar death can make you die a little earlier than expected too now !... see http://forum.baldursgate.com/discussion/comment/389881 (noticed by bengoshi ) --a3. some items icons proportions in the inventory (or UI) may seem 'a little biiit' too big (fists, claw of kasgaroth~!, cloaks, armors, arrows+hard to read numbers, wyvern heads!, etc), others seem too thin (bracers!..), especially in the scaled UI! (i like the bigger familiars in inventories though ). nota; kinda weird, and certainly easily fixable that, as i noticed that the bg2ee screenshot previews don't seem to have the over sized 'fist' for ex!.. so already fixed in the full bg2ee UI maybe.. but not in v1.2.
And also, quickly reverified but only from old v2014 saves so far (maybe fixed with full new 1.2 games -??) : --b1. unlimited number of lvl4 scrolls at sorcerous sundries (spirit armor, greater malison..), lv5 (chaos..), wands (all types!^) : ? --b2. ability to recharge items at ultra high number charges.. just by selling..rebuying(stealing!) them^ ; rings/cloaks or wands with 100 charges (ring of charm animals, nymph cloak, wand of summonned monsters, frost, lighting, of heaven, fear, paralysis, polymorphing!, etc..), 50 charges (shield amulets, greenstone, ring of energy 'victor', wand of fire(balls)..), 25 charges (amulet of explosions, etc..) : ? --b3. (always) some weird behaviours/interractions with offensive and defensive spins (for bard blades). Ex; ring of free action + DS should free the movement lock, as noticed at http://playithardcore.com/pihwiki/index.php?title=Baldur's_Gate:_Classes_and_Kits#Bard_Kits (?) (it doesn't).. to launch an haste spell BEFORE an OS => wasted OS (all OS effects wasted, no OS icon on portrait AND -1 numbers left..should at least keep the +2 bonus and max damages+icon, even if not +speed too), but if OS launched before, that's ok (effects of the OS not deleted, just no spell added effects nor spell icon on portrait; ok), similar tricky timings with haste potions (must drink the speed potion BEFORE the OS..after => OS effects kept, but potions effects not added..), similar tricky interactions with potions of freedom (but that time on the DS -can waste them too if drank BEFORE too..after is 'ok'..), etc! (+ is it standard/normal to be able to use throwing weapons+spells under DS btw -?!) : ? --b4. possibility to use some items with +stats potions/spell..putting them in quickslots/weapon/armor slots..then keeping the usage even when the +stats potions/spells effects have ended (= red boxes..but item always activated/usable)... ex; Coran able to use a composite bow/full plate mail/etc after a +STR potion..even when the bow/armor/etc returned red..yeslick able to use a wand of heaven (with 100 recharges!) in a quick slot, after a 'genius potion', even when the effects have ended, and quick slot became red... etc. ^
[to be sure those last paragraph 'bugs' have been fixed, should restart a full new v1.2 game maybe.. but will have to wait some times before beeing able to reverify them.. maybe already fixed with new games -?!].
Well, all not too fundamentals.. some could even be (more than^) nicely exploited *) but.. ' thought could be mentionned too maybe: ? *)
UPDATE 131114 - JF the sake of it!) ; No time to replay a full new v1.2 game right now(!), but i could quickly reverify some of the points above using the nice console tricks just after the creation of a new test char ; CLUAConsole:MoveToArea("ar0900") (to go directly just at the entrance of BG - sundries district) / CLUAConsole:AddGold("1000000") (to have enough to test a little buy/sell/rebuys at sundries/black lilly etc) : the unlimited number of scrolls / wands has indeed been well fixed in v1.2! (new clean games!) [scrolls/wands 20/10 max now). The rest is the same though (especially b2/b4! - nota: i could not yet also test the eventual changes for the special b3./high level bards+potions/spells interractions part..very specific too):) ).
I couldn't get Shar-Teel to join my party. Immediately after the first talk, she would skip to the part where she won the duel. Could be something in my game, but since it's an unmodded game, I doubt it.
It's been said somewhere else that Shar-Teel is scripted to win the battle as soon as her opponent suffers a certain percentage (50%, IIRC) of damage. If her opponent heads into the fight with 50% or whatever damage already taken, the game will read that as Shar-Teel having won the battle, and so she will basically win instantly as soon as the fight commences. Could that be what is happening in your case?
How exactly can you raise the undead thief? Raising dead will bring her to a misty existance, and after not even 5 seconds that existance will end. Tried giving her the casket, which was dropped - there is no dialog option etc.

Importing an exported character is kinda cheating.
I dropped her for Safana and now he does not "talk" back to me -- thus not permitting me to re-enlist him in the group.
