Some way to mod bard and allow them to dual class? And to mod Bard song?

Like the topic title says, someone know if there is some way to allow bard to dual, or be dualled at?
We can make a feature request in case about that, in AD&D rule that was legal so why not introduce them.
And regarding bard song they can be modded? duration for example to let the bard attack and sing.
Thanks in advance

I'm interested, what would you dual to? I always thought the point of playing a bard was that they are the adventuring equivalent of a Jack-of-all-trades and then you have the different class kits to specialise? Also I believe there is a way to use the song and be able to attack but I've never managed to make it work, over the experts with that one...

I believe the class combinations are hardcoded and are pretty deep in the source, so changing it isn't worthwhile. So, you can only dual class into existing multiclass combos.

    There's a file DUALCLAS.2da

I haven't actually tested it, but maybe adding a column for BARD might enable dual-classing into bard.
Changing the rows for BARD, SKALD, etc. will allow bards to dual-class into other classes.

@Bercon is right, possible multi- and dual-classes are hardcoded into the system. So, you can't create a fighter-bard dual class.

As for fighting while singing, the "turn off when attacking" functionality is hardcoded, AFAIK. The only way I could think of to create the effect you want would be give your bard the Lingering Song HLA (or create a mod mimic it). That way, the effects of the bard song would remain active when your bard attacks. Of course, he'd have to renew it once every few rounds (so sing one round, attack for 3, sing for one round, attack for three, etc..).

Edit: Whoops! Lingering Song HLA is from the Rogue Rebalancing mod. You play with certain mods so long and you forget what's mod and what's vanilla... :-P

Maybe lingering can be scaled with bard level? maybe half bard level in round? That can possibly be changed?
