I'm curious
How many different types and/or levels of poison are there?
I know there is 1 damage per tick, 2 damage per tick and my Branwen just got completely annihilated by wyvern poison which does 5 damage per tick and ticks so fast you can't even use an antidote
I guess the factors are simply damage and the speed of the ticks

Party accessible poisons:
Poison (spell): 2d8 +2 /round for 10 rounds (save vs death to avoid)
Eldoth's Poisoned Arrow (ability/item): 1 damage every 2 seconds (save vs poison to avoid)
Poison Weapon (ability): 2 points of damage/ second for 6 seconds (no save). An additional 1 damage per round for four rounds (save vs poison to avoid).
Arrows of Biting: Loses 30% of max HP (save vs poison to avoid)
Enemies:
Baby Wyvern/Wyvern/Greater Wyvern: 5 hp/second for 20 seconds (save vs poison at -4 to avoid)
Giant Spider/Ettercap: 2 hp/second for 37 seconds (save vs poison to avoid)
Huge Spider: 2hp/round for 5 rounds (save vs poison at +1 to avoid)
Phase Spider: 5 hp/second for 20 seconds (save vs poison at -2 to avoid)
Elite Hobgoblin Arrows of Biting: 5hp/round for 10 rounds (save vs poison to avoid)
Greater Basilisk (never really used often due to scripting): 1 damage/second for 10 seconds (save at +4 to avoid).
50 damage is pretty hefty. Guess it's well worth drinking an antidote even for little hobgoblins.
*Shrugs*
Suffice to say I guess that they do differ in terms of how long they last, how much damage they do, and what saving throw bonus/penalty you get for them.
