What does the "Ctrl I" cheat do?

It ain't listed on Gamefaqs so I assume it's new to Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition. What exactly does it do? As far as I can tell it displays some kinda name or script reference and causes a party member to make a quick quip.

If it does anything more, lemme know.

It basically just forces conversations from party members. So if you put two party members next to each other that you want to talk and hold down ctrl-i eventually their dialogue will trigger.

The interesting point for me is that party members only seem to talk when actually next to each other (int he game world). I've already used CTRL+I in the old BG2 to see the funny banters, but i recently found out that xzar and jaheira, for example, will only start to fight when they are next to each other, and then you press CTRL+I repeatedly.

Aside from the above-mentioned, CTRL+I also cycles through all the possible effect animations; you can then play said animations using CTRL+L.
