#6281 [CORE] - Can't scroll left!

Hey all, saw a patch was out so decided to buy the game. I just installed it and started new BG2 game with new CHARNAME and I can't scroll left! I can move the screen near top left and bottom left corners but after the second room I gave up. Also I don't have any mods installed.

I looked under known issues and other posts but couldn't find this so thought I'd bring it to everyone's attention. Back to BG:EE it is!

    Did you try just saving and loading? I've been having this issue whenever I start a new game since BG2:EE came out, but a save/reload fixes it for me.

    No I didn't, just gave up. Thanks mate, I'll try again tomorrow.

    Wonder if anyone else has had this issue

    i have also had this issue. seems to be isolated to a new game, and fixed by saving and reloading game.

    edit: i have in fact had this issue pop up at least half a dozen times during maybe 5-10hrs of gameplay. reloading the game fixes it each time.

    Ditto...I've run into the same issue, and quicksave/reload fixes it every time. Annoying, but it works. And if I can't save (in combat/whatever), I use my arrow keys for the immediate need. I assume that you're talking about scrolling by moving the cursor to the edge of the screen...that's what I've run into, anyway.

    I always play in fullscreen; next time it happens I'll try switching and see if that does anything.

    It was full screen. I'll try alt+enter and let you know.

    Same here, but only happens if the screen is zoomed.

    I've had this issue both in BG:EE and in BGII:EE. It's very random and haven't been able to find out more.

    What was notable on my end is that you can actually scroll left on a one pixel thick column, but the far left is a "no scroll", so the issue seems to be that an extra column of no-scroll area is added sometimes on load. Reported this several times for BG:EE

    I made a dupe report of this issue as 7409. But yes the zooming in is the cause of this problem.
