[Not an Issue] Saved games disappear - solved

I guess the title says it all. I imported my char from bg1ee and everything was fine until I tried to load for the first time; Both my quick save and regular one were gone. Is there a known solution for this problem?

    Here's an example: I make a quick save and press L to quick load. It'll load ONCE and ONLY ONCE, as if the quick save file vanishes upon loading! This is incredibly frustrating!!

    Alright, installing the game through beamdog did the trick.

    @sleeperhold, to clarify: what were you trying to install it through previously? (I'm also going to assume you are using Windows?)

    Do you have the original save game or character that you were trying to import? Can you upload it so I can give it a try?

    I first got the stand-alone installer. Then I deleted the game and got it through the beamdog client and since then everything's been fine. Thanks anyway.
