Lilacor upgrades

Hello everybody!
I believe there should be a separate and new quest to upgrade lilacor into an even more powerful sword, or a quest to free the sole trapped in it or something. I think its a real interesting sword with a funny back story that could really be expanded upon.

    The Item Upgrade mod allows you to upgrade Lilarcor.

    Well considering Overhaul can't change original content and this would likely come under that banner the IU mod is likely your best shot.

    I was hoping for a new quest to upgrade him. Or a quest to free him. Maybe something along the lines of finding out how he became the sword

    Hardly seems like a cheat to me. Its not like you can get the sword forged until after the Mindflayer dungeon. Seems pretty balanced.

    Mentioning the sword on these forums makes me for some reason think it should have a girlfriend named Jalilarcor.

    You're assuming that he's trapped in the sword at all, and it's not just some facsimile of his personality or some such. His dialogue doesn't seem to imply that he's a human trapped in a sword ... just that he's a sentient sword.

    This is true i have noticed this as well but a nice quest to make him stronger, and funnier, would be nice

    After you upgrade him, does he still talk randomly while being equipped?

    Or better yet, a quest to make lilacor either sane and becomes a +5 sword 1d12 with abilities or insane and become a +5 sword 1d12 with abilities.

    Lilacor was a very handy weapon for the early game... but man was it an annoying talking sword! It was charming/funny the first 10 times...

    Literally every gaming session of mine began with Lilacor saying something like "Can we go kill some NOW?!?!" It talked more than NPCs, and I was half expecting a Lilacor romance to kick in at some stage!

    I'd be cool if Lilarcor would occasionally say something on a critical hit or make a snarky remark on a critical miss.

    @Heindrich1988 Do not give the Internet ideas about romances with a sword,,, sigh... It's too late isn't it? Someone certainly is already working on one right now....

    It'd be cool if the sword was cursed and "took over" the NPC equipping it, effectively becoming a new party member, talking through him. And having a quest to put his soul to rest, whereupon the sword would be uncursed and turned into a normal weapon.

    Drizzt's novels, it's an sword Drizzt got in the underdark that he passed to Cattie-Brie, Bruenor daugther and later his girlfriend/wife.

    The sword was also sentient, and addicted in killing live beings.

    The reason you need the control circlet is actually to make it quiet...
