Hello peoples :D
Just a quick question~

Ok in the asylum when u escape Bodhi's maze you are confronted by this char when u zone up to the level with the crazies(Tiax, Dili, Najir, etc).

Well me being a chaotic evil half orc with an evil party dispensed with any conversation and moved right along to decorating the corridor with his innards. But, nothing in the asylum opened, his death did not register at all, everything is still locked. He drops no key to open anything and i cant find anything to open the doors. Confronting Irenicus without freeing the crazies is instant death.

So im looking for his creature code if anyone knows it so i can respawn him?

    Do you have a save game (auto-save, perhaps?) from prior to meeting Lonk that you can upload?

    Unfortunately no, my last actual save that wasnt an auto or quick was aggggess ago, i would of just reloaded if i wasnt that far back.

    Dang that must of been about the only PP creature i didnt spawn from the BG2 creature list, looked for the crazies in that area and they all had a prefix of PP so went through a lot of options.

    Thanks a bunch for this, will see if i can progress by respawning him and iono actually talking to him and being civil like my good party :D

    Hmmm having said that i reloaded my quick save, spawned him and went to the die by my hand option and killed him again(he dies almost instantly, like falls to the ground and then his spells fire) i get the 20k XP but nothing happens.

    So i tried the talking option and paid him 2000 GP and it worked just fine, i will do some more testing to see if i can determine if im killing him too fast or it's a specific effect or weapon or whatnot.

    @Chorazin, when was your last save prior to this problem? So long as it is not from Irenicus' Dungeon at the start, it would speed things up for me trying to get to Spellhold in order to try it out. :)

    Ok i've been respawning him and killing him in a variety of ways and cannot get the quest to progress unless i pay him money.

    I let him cast his Horrid Wilting and numerous other spells rather than killing him straight off the bat, doesnt help. I've killed him with Korgan lobbing Hangard's Axes at him, I've killed him with my main char weilding the flail of the ages, ive killed him with Viconia weilding Wyverns Tail, i've killed him with Dorn weilding the Abyssal Blade and blasted him with spells from Edwin.

    The quest for me will not progress upon his death, the only way i can progress is to pay him money. Not sure if this is a bug specific to me or others have encountered this.

    O im well past there now, im up to the leaving Brynnlaw bug now where the invisible pirate lord threatens Saemon and then nothing happens lol.
