Loading game healing high con characters

Sometimes when I load a save one or more of my characters will get completely healed. The two I have noticed it on are Kagain and my main; Half-Orc Fighter/Cleric with maxed con and Buckley's Buckler (ie both have 20 con). It almost always happens to at least one of them when I use the quick-load button, happening less so when manually loading.

My guess would be this is some sort of glitch involved with the high con regen system, seeing as it's only happening to those two characters.

My game is completely unmodded.

    I have a hunch. Did you ever drink potions of power or heroism and save while still under their effects? I encountered this problem since the olden days of vBG1 and recently linked the problem to these potions. For some reason, drinking either of these potions and saving while still under their effects will cause this to happen for the rest of the game. The erroneous regeneration does not happen 100% of the time upon reload.

    I'm not sure I ever reported this problem on the tracker actually... I should do that...

    I realized this myself, the first time was after buffing up my party with tons of potions, so I guess Tresset is right. Didn't check if this effect is permanent for the game, yet.

    So far as I can remember, I haven't used any of those sorts of potions in my game yet.
