Map labels are flaky

SivarSivar Member Posts: 53

I added text to the "Den of Seven Vales" label in Waukeen's Promenade and changed the color to "red."

Expected behavior: Map label text is updated, the text is properly displayed, and the color change takes place.

Actual behavior:
1) The map label shifted positions. See attached image. The red label in the green selection box is where it ended up -- the small red circle is the correct (original) position of the marker.
2) The text, which has two lines, is not displayed properly. Only the bottom of the first line and the top of the second line are displayed. See image. Notice the bottom 5% or so of "Den of Seven Vales"
3) Pressing backspace deletes two characters. Pressing the left and right arrow moves the carat two character widths.

To clarify: does this only happen in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition, or does it also happen in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition? I'm only asking because of category you made the post in.

Oops. #3 happens in both. #1 happens only in BG2EE as far as I have seen. I haven't seen #2 in BGEE but it has other text-fit problems, some of which I reported in this forum.
