Possible Simulacrum and Autopickup bug

A strange thing happened when I used the simulacrum spell and used the new auto-pickup feature. I used a simulacrum scroll as part of the Firkraag encounter and the 'clone' was still around after the battle.
After killing Firkraag I used the new pickup feature to pick up the various items. I left the dungeon and once outside I went to reorganize my loot, only to find the sword and scales were missing. I went back to the dragon lair and it wasn't there either, and there wasn't enough time for the items to vanish on their own.
As far as I can tell, the simulacrum was the 'character' that picked up the items. Once the simulacrum disbanded, the items disappeared. Not 100% this is what happened, but I can't explain the missing items in any other way.

In the mean time, create the lost items with the console. Item codes are "scaler" and "sw2h10" Let me know if you need to know more on how to do that.
