A minor idea on how to incorporate all those cool "books" you find in the game

    I remember my first play through having a chest filled with books. Inventory management + book collecting without a scroll case was....annoying.

    How about this: there is a library that collects rare books. If you bring them the entire collection, they will reward you with some cool stuff, like maybe a Tome of Wisdom, a Potion of Genius, free Identifies, etc. depending on how many books you bring in?

    I still like the idea of Firebead having a small bookstore in Waukeen's Promenade even if JackJack would kill him

    I always had a bag of holding full of them for the purposes of "if I get bored later I can finally read them all"... but this never happened.

    I also never used my wands, saving them for the emergency situation where I would "really need them" yet whenever the emergency came I would forget I had them.

    My bag of holding was always really a bag of hoarding

    I have all the quest items in my bag of holding "just in case I need them for something".

    Haha, @nano sooooo many times when I needed those acorns when I finally could save the forest hippies and it took me a few to remember where they were

    Fortunately the game (now?) checks your bags of holding for quest items, meaning you don't have to worry about that anymore. :)

    @booinyoureyes I know right, that was the very first quest I got and I was taking it really seriously. Yes ma'am, we'll get you out of here as soon as we can, I'm on it, don't you worry...

    and then as soon as I get out of the dungeon it's freedom! quests! treasure! shopping! wenches! why the heck am I carrying acorns!

    I still have those "power cells" to from Chateu Irenicus on my old computer's saves from like 8th grade haha
