None of you can deny it. Gorion shot first. He cast his lightning bolt at that ogre before Tamoko even had a chance to cast her flame arrow at CHARNAME. In the EE, you have bandits shooting first.
It was one of the first things I noticed they changed. Totally destroyed the entire story for me. I demand a refund plus damages for emotional distress of wrecking my childhood.
I never feel comfortable with these statements as the original, Han shot first, implies Greedo shot -at all-... which he didn't.
What bothers me most about the scene change is the lack of the wonderful Magic Missile barrage and how Melf's Acid Arrow no longer has Sarevok grunting and whimpering post-battle.
Honestly, @Cuv 's is how it should have been up until the tripping part. It would have been cool if Gorion at least made Sarevok uncomfortable for a second or two. It would explain why Sarevok left instead of walking 20 meters to the South where you apparently fall asleep until the especially cruel dawn. Unless you were so well hidden that only a level one teenage thief dressed in pink could find you

That Fighter/Cleric vs Fighter/Mage thread took more time than what I thought!
I thought that Han Solo shot first.
