Another help with my final party member thread(Spoilers!)

Even though I tagged this as spoilers, I would like to keep this spoiler free as possible.

I started a new play through with a Female Berserker dualled to a druid. Starting in BG, I am RPing that after the loss of Gorion, she clung to Jaheira making her a motherly figure and emulating her ways. I am looking to take Jaheira all the way to the end of TOB with me, something I realized I have never done (I actually think I've never taken her to the trials).

I also started this play through so I could take Hexxat as my main thief. (Figuring my first two playthrough are with an undead hunter and a womanizing bard who was kinda fond of Clara). With that, I am going to RP that Imoen didn't survive her procedure with Irenicus. So I am going to want a full party once I reach Spell Hold that does not include Yoshimo.

I am going to torture myself and bring along Cernd (who I have taken to the trials!) to have a little druid circle going. I am not going to drop him, Hexxat, or Jaheira from the party so please do not suggest it.

The last spot of all my parties is a rotation where I bring in an NPC, do their quests and then drop them off on their merry little way solidifying my party at spell hold. I am going to do this but only with the mages (Nalia/Edwin/Jan/Neera) choosing atleast one before going to Brynlaww.

With that, I am stuck with my final NPC to take with me and I am open to suggestions. This is also going to be a semi-speed run. I am not going to be doing every quest just to do it. I am only going to focus on the quests my party give me, the druid strong hold quest and of course the main quest and leave it at that.

So with all that information who should I take? Should I just choose two mages from the list or go with a ranged specialist like Mazzy? Do I need another tank? I don't think I need another healer so, for now Vic/Anomen/Aerie are out but I could be convinced to take them. Should I go Rasaad and replace him with the hidden NPC? Or should I go with Anomen as a romance option (If I do that, I'll make him fail his test though). I don't care about my party not getting along as it adds to the story so don't let that be a deterrent to a suggestion. I am sorta at a loss.

tl;dr
party is (written in stone):
PC (Berserker/Druid - tank)
Jaheria (Fighter/Druid - tank)
Hexxat (thief - utility belt)
Cernd (druid - errr healer I guess)
Mage Rotation
???
last spot should go to ___________.

Haer'Dalis for extra arcane/melee presence, whichever's need at a time.

Yes, Haer'Dalis should do nicely - a little bit of everything to supplement the specialists.

Still Haer over Jan? Jan gets the arcane and also range. Cernd can fill the third tank spot if I need that...

OP wants to rotate the mages and do their quests before Brynnlaw. For that particular purpose, Jan is considered a mage.

Nothing is stopping me from taking 2 mages though if a secondary spell caster is needed (I usually only play with one). If, with this group two spell casters is needed, is it better to have another tank option, or another thief/ranged specialist option? Or should I go into Brynlaw with both Haer and Jan?

Well... if you're taking Haer'Dalis with you into chapter 4-5, your other caster should be a specialist - either Neera or Edwin.
