Import Bug - I Keep getting repeating messages

When I imported my Character from BG1EE, I keep getting the same three messages on a loop every minute or so. They concern an orge mage leading an army, and two of me abandoning someone. Is this a bug and can it be disabled via console? EDIT: I also get messages that I'm immune to random spell schools.

Okay, I figured out that if I started creating a new char - then imported, as opposed to picking my char from the pre-made chars, I don't get the problem.
