BG2 Large Shield +1

I don't know whether this has come up before but I noticed it in the current game I am playing:

CURRENT BEHAVIOUR: Large shield +1 +4 v Missiles purchased from the Adventurer's Mart in Waukeen's Promenade has no effect when equipped. ie. it gives no armour class bonus.

DESIRED BEHAVIOUR: The shield gives the proper armour class bonuses.

I'm playing vanilla BG2 with no mods.

    SHLD07.ITM and SHLD7A.ITM appear to have correct stats in NI, so I'm moving this to Not An Issue.
