No Launcher.

Bought BG II EE from apple app store It does not come with a launcher just the executable program. Thus, I've no way to get the patches. Encountering several of the bugs noted as fixed by subsequent patch. Help. I have re-downloaded from app store to no avail -- still no launcher and ability to connect for patch. What am I missing? Is there an alternative way to receive patch? Running OS X.

    The App Store has their own installer, which also does the application of patches. If you have the App Store application (which you'd need in order to download and install the game in the first place), you already have everything needed to get the patches when they're released.

    Yes, normally app store deals with patching for other apps, but in this case, no patches have been released. Perhaps Apple app store is just lagging?

    The Mac App Store version is still 1.2.0; the patch hasn't been released there yet.

    Yes indeed -- Mac app store is still 1.2; Have tried re-downloading. Good to have affirmed that app store simply hasn't released the patch yet. Sigh. Thanks for comments all. I am feeling....patchless.
