Extra info : Adding the Blackguard kit to a arcane magic user will grant him the benefices of being a Wild Mage without the disadvantages (so a Thief/Mage kitted Blackguard for example, won't receive any bonuses from Blackguard but will have up to 6 spells per days and will have NRD and the chaos shields spells without the spells surges !).

Well, off I go to play a Blackguard Fighter/Mage... >_>

@Tome you won't be able since Blackguard is a Paladin kit and there is not a Paladin/Mage muti-class. It happens with any kit, so if you use a Kensai/Mage multi-class it should work the same way.

So adding any non-mage kit to an arcane magic user grants access to NRD and Chaos Shield? That's odd, I don't recall my EE Keeper'd Assassin/Mage getting access to them. :/

Mostly because you pretty much give up most weapons for Archer to be able to use bows and crossbows well... only to have Cleric block those.

Kensai/Wild Mage/Swashbuckler sounds like a lot of fun and powerful at high levels. Kensai AND swash damage bonuses? nice!
