Unknown spell scrolls not showing green in the ground (1.2.2031)

Well, I've been granted with access to the 1.2.2031 version and just found that if you don't know a spell it shows Green on your inventory, but when you go and pick it up from the ground, it does NOT show in green.
@Illdyth: has this been reported before?

    Not sure what they want to do with this feature... It would be really nice if the scrolls did not stop turning green if you knew the maximum number of spells per level for your intelligence. I may make a request for that eventually.
