F2 was the best when it came to humor.

yeah, i loved the many star trek references, and though i always got the shuttle crash scene with all the dead red shirts, i never noticed the phaser until like my 4th play-though. i always found the fuzzy elvis picture (that might have been the ufo crash site?) man, i miss f2, really wish van buren would have been released instead of that bethesdia monstrosity.

Certainly one of the most memorable trolls i encountered, but the XP you got from running him out of things to say was worth the annoyance.

Saemon Havarian is definitely the one that made my day (BG2) :)

I killed him once. Now I just take off and outrun him to the edge of the screen.

Since this thread somehow got resurrected, I thought I'd find out just how good he is. Ctrl-Q'd him into my party. Unfortunately, the game crashes when you try to level him up :(

However, I could probably use SK to assign him a class... Jester seems appropriate...

Too unrealistic - he would have been killed years ago, before you even met him...and since Edwin is right over there, on that bridge - I think all you might have noticed of Noober is a small pile of ashes.

Now, if they would have made him a joinable NPC...hehe. That would be untoppable!

    *click* What about now?

That goes with any NPC from the Elder Scrolls games.

The greatest NPC ever is Sleeping Dwarf. Oh if only he'd wake up to grace our ears with his epic tale...

remember Neeber - I think in BG2? Almost the same NPC. Bugs you, until you kill him.

Neeber is Noober's cousin I believe (in-game I think it is mentioned that he is, no?)

I think they just act similar I don't think there is any established familial relations between the two beyond the similarity of their names.

Perhaps the familiarity is a result inbreeding due to membership of an alien worshiping cult of some sort?
    Sounds plausible.

Inbreeding is part of Noobers problem.

I didn't know who Noober was and so I looked it up. The first result was called "Tolerating Noober". Hm, it almost sounds like a poorly written parody of a Jane Austen novel.

One of the reasons why I could never get into that game.

He is one of these persons that don't get any noober. In terms of noobity, he is amongst the very best characters. But certainly he is not the greatest of all noobites.
