That is a scary SCARY thought. I would definatley have to throw rocks at him then.

Would be great if you could recruit him, he could annoy enemies to death! :-)

By the way his theme song is ofically "Hey Ya" by Outkast.

Noober really needs to have his own music video.

Best case scenario, he absorbs one of Angelo's arrows of detonation.
Seriously, though, he's one of the funnier, but the moment that made me laugh the most (as far as I recall) was Lurze the Ogre and the player's deft evasion of battle by confusing the poor stupid beast. Good times.

I talk to him until I get the XP, then I kill him. I don't think you lose reputation for killing him.
  • CheesebellyCheesebelly Member Posts: 1,727
Technically speaking, you should GAIN reputation for killing him XD

Poor Noober. I love him otherwise :p

Try throwing rocks with a sling, its more effective ;-)

Noober is one of the few characters that I was sorely tempted to kill. Characters that you don't have to kill, that is.

I think that technically speaking, beamdog should switch noobers alignment to chaotic evil
  • SacherySachery Member Posts: 33
I dont play as evil, but he keep on going and going. So I take it as a attack from him and kill him every time.

Great does not mean, good. it means the most

Noober is the greatest at being annoying.

I don't always play an evil character, however when I play BG, I always kill Noober.

He's a free experience and reputation drop. Plus he also tests how fast you can spam your enter key.

I think that an evil option for dealing with Noober, if you know about the mage in the graveyard, is to tell him (once he is done annoying you) that there is a very talkative mage in the graveyard he should speak to.

He's the best one to take a Flamestrike spell.

actually, i always think the game is broken when i reach noober and he keeps saying how about now? I guess they need to give you an equipable rock item in your inventory that you can throw at him to get rid of him without killing him. maybe a -1 reputation, but the full drop of killing an 'innocent'.

or they could make him even more annoying, get rid of the xp reward, and make him a true infinite loop. like he'll never stop saying how about now, and soooo many players will be waiting and waiting for him to stop. would be a great way to troll the players just a bit further :)

    Friends, have we forgotten Nexlit?
  • BjjorickBjjorick Member Posts: 1,208
lol i just remembered, do you gues remember in fallout 2, the special ummm, event??? forget what they're called, but when moving on the map, you find them like the monty python bridge, etc.

anyways there was a spammer there, reminds me of noober, and the whole village got together and killed him while you watched? I loved that the guy never stopped spamming even while he was dying, and everyone's reaction when he was finally dead :)
