2. My Reputation was 20 until I escaped from jail and I had to kill a Flaming Fist and now I'm down to 4 how can I increase it.
3. Been fighting Sarevok numerous times, but the 2 mages inside keep killing me with fire balls

Thanks for the help

2. Quickest way to increase Reputation is to donate a couple of thousand gold within the nearest temple.
3. Poison is your friend.
-The Complete Fighter's Handbook and The Complete Thief's Handbook, for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd Edition
-Complete Warrior, for Dungeons & Dragons Revised 3rd Edition
I wanna say go to that temple next to Beregost and donate, donate, donate! at least until you're at like 8 or 9 maybe 10
Since the AI is kind of dumb, I like to throw summoned monsters at them. Since the Enhanced Edition has remove magic, try that? Angelo has a bunch of stupid buffs. Or was it Semaj...I don't know. I just ended up laying copious amounts of traps and area spells until they were blanketed in magical "screw you" and taking cheap shots at them. Poison helped.
My Character is a LG Monk, I have Atlantis, Barnwen, Neera, Minsc, Imonen
I'll just have to fight this out the best way I can.
Thank You

The final battle in BG 1 is difficult, so it's normal to struggle a bit. I don't have any brilliant ideas, I kinda got lucky on my first attempt, but I'll offer some thoughts:
1) Advance cautiously. Disarm the traps on either side as you advance. The battle is hard enough without Battle Horrors adding to the fun.
2) It might be cheesy, if you really struggle, try to pull Sarevok and his crew to you one by one. The mage (Semaj) has a habit of teleporting straight towards your party, which gives you a chance to take him out quickly. (Arrows of Dispelling is your friend.)
3) Sarevok does not have great Magic Resistance, I took him down with Magic Missiles, a lot of them...
4) If you kill Sarevok, the battle ends and you win BG 1. So if you focus on him, you can win without killing the rest of his crew.
5) The 'fireballs' are likely to be Angelo's Arrows of Detonation. This is your last battle, unload all your best ammo at it, including your own Arrows of Detonation. Also, you're gonna be facing fire, so drink up on Fire Resistance potions, as well as every other good potion you got left. Don't save anything for BG 2. If you don't know why... you'll find out why.
There are a few other items that might help in this fight as well. Have Neera (or possibly Imoen if you've dual classed her into a mage) use a Wand of Paralyzation (which you can buy from the sorcerous sundries) on Sarevok. Use it as many times as it takes to paralyze him (which probably won't be more than 3-4 times). It may take some maneuvering to do this but if you are successful it makes killing him a lot easier. As others have noted he's the only one you need to kill.
To help against the mages give Ajantis and Minsc a bow if they don't already have one. Load those two up with Arrows of Detonation and (to a lesser degree) Arrows of Dispelling (you can buy this in the Sorcerous sundries). They probably will be just as capable as Imoen with a bow (despite having possibly no proficiency in them). The good thing about Arrows of Detonation is that you really don't have to worry about your Thac0. Keep in mind the Arrows of Dispelling are to remove the mages initial protections, so make sure they don't use them (or any dispelling magic) against Sarevok himself (since hopefully you'll be trying to paralyze him). Once some of their protections are down they shouldn't last too long against your own Arrows of Detonation.
As for you (the monk) you can use a Wand of the Heavens against Sarevok. Wittle him down from a distance. If Branwen has any level 3 spells to spare (that she isn't using to provide fire resistance) having her use the Animate Dead (level 3) spell can provide a few good quality summons. Otherwise both you and her can use Wand of the Heavens against Sarevok (at least until he is paralyzed at which point you can switch over to melee). You can buy Wand of the Heavens from (you guessed it) the Sorcerous Sundries.
And use ALL your potions. Last chance so beef up with everything you've got before that fight. Especially Potions of Fire Protection for the Arrows of Detonation coming your way.
