If you don't like them, do not participate. If you want, you can take part only in one or several polls instead of all of them.
@booinyoureyes has been great for this forum, he has given me probably more giggles, good emotions and just pleasant reading than anyone else;) And these polls are a breath of fresh air, they drive the forum further, they give so many opportunities for a good discussion. They unite forum members, open new possibulies, give new dimensions on how to look on NPCs, classes and so on.
Personally I was surprised to visit a forum as the new day began and to find 10 brilliant shiny new polls, discussion in which are full of valid and funny views. I'm going to read them all (when I'll have time), to smile, to consider, to be blown away, to wonder, to give reactions, to write myself... There's so much I can do and I'm glad there're discussions for NPCs of an each BG class.
I see no harm in so many polls. Instead, I see only positives that our beloved forum got 10+ new wonderful discussions in less than a day. I hope they will go on as the forum greatest hits. In fact, that's what the forums for - good discussions:)
Hey Joey, I'm sorry if you thought it was too much. I understand where you are coming from, and a mod has told me as much (after I had already made them). I initially was going to do a couple a day but I got snowed in my house and had nothing else to do so I kept making them. I've wanted to hear people's thoughts on comparing NPC choices for a long time now, and I am very happy people like my boy @bengoshi enjoyed them. Polls are my favorite part of this site, tbh. That said, I can see why you don't want to see them all over the place. Maybe there is a way to block a user or ignore them or something. They are all also in the "General Discussion" section so if you want to avoid them you could look elsewhere. I hope most people would not "consider them spam at this point", and positive reactions show otherwise. I thought they were relevant to the purpose of this forum, but I can definitely see why someone would get annoyed by the number of them in one day. I hope you enjoy future posts, and sorry if they crowded your page and/or distracted from your enjoyment of other content. Take care!
Everyone is entitled to their feelings, and ten nearly identical threads posted in the space of three hours is certainly cause for concern. As has been noted, though, the matter's already been dealt with, and @booinyoureyes now knows to try not to flood the forum with these things all at once.
