BG keeps crashing after a dream

Hi everyone,
I'm in front of a pretty big situation here:
Me and my girlfriend are now at the Chapter 3 of the game and we decided at some time to sleep in an inn. So we needed several sleeping sessions to get to full HP. But, what occured is that we had the chapter 3 dream and when she clicks the "done" button to end the video, the game keeps crashing and crashing for her.

We tried everything, we have been looking for a resolution on the forums but no, no clue why it does that. It was the same for the Chapter 2 dream, so we had to load the quick sae and try again for several hours to get to be full HP without having the dream, and so we did not get the spell you get when you have a dream.

Therefore, we'd like to know how to get through the dream without being forced to avoid the dream sequence.

If someone can help us, we would owe you so much.

@AlphaandOmega, someone else reported that if you let the host go through the dream sequence alone, it works as it should.
