BGEE on an iPad mini or a nexus 7

(The android perspective obviously is directed at people who have been testing the android version.)

Has anyone tried playing BGEE on a smaller tablet (7-8")? I'm thinking about getting a nexus 7 but want to know just how playable BGEE is on a smaller tablet (I play it on a third generation, full-size iPad so I'm used to a tablet form factor).

My tablet of choice is an iPad Mini, and the game plays extraordinarily well on it. We're also making some improvements to controls in preparation for the Android release, so for as nicely as it plays on your full-sized iPad now, you can expect it to play even better once it reaches Android.

Playing in iPad Mini isn't difficult, now with the 1.3 font you won't have any problems with the font (unless you find it too big), I use a full sized iPad, and I can say that it's particularly better, I still find the screen too small (I like much more playing on a computer with a medium sized screen).
Some things will never be as good as the computer version, starting with dungeons, as you can't rotate the formation and pathfinding isn't set to a high number by default (default is 2000, at 7500 your characters are smart when walking), you can change this from the ini, I don't remember the line now, sadly (to change this on iPad you need it jailbroken).

I can vouch for the Nexus 7, the 2013 model, at least so far as the beta goes. I think it would require more thorough testing in order to properly advise on that front. I doubt there is going to be much difference when playing between the iPad Mini and the Nexus 7.

I couldn't really get through the game with any of the iPad versions, and ended up buying it on PC as well in the end for a proper playthrough. Didn't like all the pinching.

I did get a cheap thrill out of AirPlaying the game on my Apple TV once though.

Don't mean to resurrect an old thread, but just wanted to thank everyone for chiming in with feedback! (Obviously I don't visit these forums too regularly :)
