This is weird, even for me. I used a cloudkill on the gnolls attacking Drizzt with him inside the AoE, but not present on screen. His Magic Resistance keeps everything out, and I head out irl to take care of a few things. When I got back and looked around in game, Drizzt is dead, no reason given and right before that a lightning bolt hit a gnoll. I mean, it'll be nice to get his stuff, but the circumstances are strange enough to warrant this post.

    This is not as uncommon as it may seem. Drizzt was probably struck by lightning several times and killed by it. This has happened to quite a few people already. Lightning strikes take away half of a character's maximum hp which will kill them if they are at half health or lower.

    Why are you not checking the text box and give more feedback by doing so?
    A while ago a lightning killed Tanya, I laughed a lot, since Talos is the Storm Lord and she is a Priestess of Umberlee, and the Fishers are worshippers of Talos.
    If not all the gnolls died then it's this bug over here.
