Berserk target causes crash

in BG:EE Bugs (v1.2)
I'm on PC v1.2 BG:EE and in the bandit camp Gnoll cave if I send Minsc in Berserk he kills all of the Gnolls then targets the bats, which can't be targeted normally, this causes my game to crash.

    While my Minsc does target the bats when in zerk this does not make my game crash.

    What system are you running the game on? Do you have any mods? What weapon was Minsc using on them?
