What carries through to TOB in BG2EE (iPad)?

I know that Charname remains 'as is', but when I find the my party and the NPCs (I've only ever played through as a solo monk), are they equipped as they are at the end of SOA?

    Reassuring, I have everyone geared up to the nines and really did not want to lose it all!

    You get to continue with your party at the end of the soa right into tob. Other npcs not in your party can be summoned in tob but they will have standart +2 +3 magical gear when summoned by the fate spirit.

    And they have only 2,5M of XP.

    I'm travelling pretty light thankfully and running a 4 man team, so all is good!
