More Difficulty Options

When I bought the EE versions, I was disappointed that more difficulty/convenience options didn't come with. There are similar requests, but most of them deal with specific difficulty settings, rather than adding options to all or none of the available settings.
Adding a checkbox to the EE versions may take a bit of extra work, but I think that is what most of wanted from the EE versions: A bit of extra work put into our favorite gaming series. It shouldn't be a tedious chore to add basic convenience settings like toggling Max HP, Successful Scroll Scribing, Better Thieving (the ability to disable traps, pick locks, open doors, pickpocket, and do basic quiet actions while sneaking), etc. to harder difficulties.
We've also seen smarter enemies in the Black Pits 1 and 2. It'd be a nice add to include a box for these in the EE versions.
These are just a couple of the examples that I could think of that would improve the EE versions. Instead of locked difficulty settings, have multiple options that people can select to customize their gaming experience more. Thank you in advance for further comments and consideration.

The SCS mod is something you should definitely try if the game is too easy for you.

You will be able to install many optional tweaks to various aspects of gameplay. This mod will systematicly restruct of the games' core artificial intelligence, affecting spell and proficiency choices, kits, high-level abilities, and most importantly enemy AI scripting, with a full install rewriting the AI of practically every creature in the game. This mod will offer many components that modify individual set-piece encounters at various points throughout the EEs.
With this mod you'll hardly need anything else to make combat more challenging, interesting, and most importantly immersive and realistic.
Another variant you can install is the BG2 Tweak Pack.

Another advice I can give you is trying a no-reload or a minimal-reload playthrough. Just check these threads and find out how fun the game can become if you change something in your approach to this game. Maybe a 75 roll - maximum, maybe a solo run, maybe an odd kit or class. The options are very splendid:

On this forum you can also find threads where a person tries his own RP run that completely improves your appreciation of the game:

Another thing I'd like the EE versions to either add to Hard and Insane difficulties or make an optional box to check would be to make the random encounters all scale to the hardest difficulties: Liches instead of Shadow Fiends, Adamantine Golems instead of Iron Golems, Beholders instead of Gauths, etc. Again, I realize certain mods can add to difficulty and more conveniences, but I hope that the EE versions will do this on their own. Thank you again.
Ludicrous: All attempts to scribe scroll fail automatically, all hit dice rolls are treated as 1, all enemy rolls of 1 are counted as 20. You get -50 XP and all enemies do 3 times as much damage (regardless of source).
Insulting: As Ludicrous, but when your PC dies, you are laughed at by Noober, Neeber and Viekang
Nietzchean Eternal Return: After you finish each playthrough, you must immediately make a second, utterly identical rerun. This continues forever, possibly with a Baatazu giving comentary. This is to force you to play like you truly want to, with nothing unfulfilled. Or to fill you with complete despair as you realize you will eternally be forced to make the same mistakes, over and over. While the Devil laughs at your wasted life.
