Any word on when the new patch is due?

And what has the beamdog team been up to besides freezing in Edmonton? I haven't been on here much lately

    What I find especially vexing about this is that the version available from the Mac store already has the patch! Now I regret purchasing my version directly from BD. I don't understand why they just don't make it available to other Mac users.

    Because they didn't get the 1.2 patch :) so they got the 1.3 before us.

    You'll probably see BG:EE 1.3 late this summer and patch for BG2:EE early next year.

    I am still waiting to actually play this game. I don't want to start and have to stop and wait or restart, so I have been patiently waiting since the time I preordered it. Maybe one day I will be able to play the second one too. One day...

    I'm pretty sure (or at least hope very much) that this isn't the finished patch. I reverted to 1.2, since the new bad outweighed the new good by far, at least for my taste.

    Believe me; it isn't the finished patch. The finished patch will fix a massive amount of bugs.
