    This bug should have been fixed long ago. Make sure you are using the most recent version of BG:EE. I circled the location of the version number in the following screenshot. If you do not have version 1.2.0 listed then you need to update your game.

    1.0.2014 is an old one. What platform do you use (windows, mac, ipad, or android)? I am not sure the specifics of how to update on each individual platform but the game's launcher should detect the update as long as it can connect to the internet (at least for mac and windows).

    The patch version you should be looking for is v1.2

    When and from where did you got the game? If you got it from Beamdog, just open the installer and download the patch. If you have it from Steam, open the client, go to BG:EE in your games and check for updates/update.

    Ludrug goes for whoever has the highest level in the party which is usually the thief since they level fast. I don't think that is a bug.
