Pre-ordered but no forum badge...?

Hey all,

If you pre-ordered and have not received your forum badge, please send @Dee a direct message (NOTE: do NOT post your e-mail address here) with the e-mail address you entered in on BeamDog and your forum username.

NOTE: If you have recently purchased the game, you must allow 24 hours after purchase for the badge to appear as the systems automatically try and add things every evening.

    Hi Nathan!

    What should we expect the badge to look like or say? I have a few, but am not sure if the pre-order badge is among them.

    Is it kinda like Who's line is it anyways? where the points don't matter? Or do they have some effect that we're not aware of?

    The badges are cool though, just wish there was a little boo badge. :)

    @Bjjorick: Reading about Vanilla Forums it seems points can get you special privileges but it seems that system is merely cosmetic in this forum(OR MAYBE NOT?!).

    Hey there,
    I pre-ordered on Beamdog, and no Bagde... But there was never a link between my account here and at Beamdog's... I'm guessing that's the issue?

    -click on my name to open up my profile
    -smack the "Message" button at the top right.

    Include the information I asked for in there and I should be able to take care of your badge issue. =)

    Is there any clear description on how to get the forum badge ? I couldn't find any (other than "buy the game"). Is it an option in your forum profile? Do you need to use the same E-Mail address as for your beamdog account? Or is there another way to connect your beamdog account to this forum?

    @Troika Hello, the badge system cross-references the e-mail used on beamdog.com to preorder with the one you've used to sign up for the forums.

    If people use a different e-mail address then it doesn't catch it properly and that's the time they can message me to get their problem solved. =)

    @Nathan Thank you, that's all I needed to know. :)

    Not that people really care too much about forum badges, but there's no point in causing minor annoyance when the goal was to give a minor reward.

    Whats the difference between the pre order and supporter badge? I have the supporter badge but not the pre order one.

    BTW are you meant to get a badge after 25 "likes"? I didn't, but have seen others with this badge (e.g. @Mungri)... :-(

    Was I the only one that didn't care about the badge and just loved that fact that this amazing game is coming out again 10* better :3
    but then again, I never did get a chance to see how awesome the badge is >.>
