or east of beregost (which is east, south, east from the starting area).
Here, this is probably the best place to ask little questions like that, so you don't have to make a whole discussion. Stuff like this you can also just google, but I guess you might be concerned with spoilers, so it's fine. Also, you can get a cleric or Druid into your party who can cast healing spells, so you do to have to pay temples. There is one at the friendly arm(jahiera) one at the carnival in nashkel(branwen) and a few others later on, but I don't want to spoil you. They are in a place called cloakwood. You'll know it when you get there.
After leaving candlekeep, the temple close to beregost is the easiest one to get to.
with the coins on it, same as you used to shop at the inn in Candlekeep. Then choose resurrection (or raise dead, I can't remember which). Make sure your cursor is over the avatar of the PC you need to raise. It will still be with all your party pictures on the left hand side, but it will look a little different.
Two things to note
1/. This is VERY expensive. You probably can't afford it yet. It might be best to reload from just before your NPC got killed.
2/. If you did not pick up all the dead NPCs belongings, he or she won't have them when they rise form the dead
Down the bottom you will see this button.
Select it, it should bring up this list.
Select the dead NPC portrait and use the raise dead spell. . .
