What the hell is that beast? Did a dragon rape a wyvern and this was the result? Steroids in the bay water?

    I don't think it's that much bigger than the sprite. It's just lying over.

    Monstrous Compendium Volume I describes Wyvern as reaching up to 35 feet long from head to the end of the tail. With a wing span of 50 feet.

    Some variaties of cow and horse are really massive animals.

    Tainted substance they use on the iron. It poisons humans, half-orcs, elves, half-elves, gnomes, dwarves, and halflings. But with everything else it makes them grow hulk style :D
