    The only alternative to class/kit choice restriction is modding Set Traps, Skull Trap, Glyph of Warding, and Protection from Magic Weapons out of the game. But, since the modification in question is primitive, yet quite time-consuming (I'd need to remove all the respective scrolls from stores, areas, and creatures as well), I don't feel like it right now. Besides, restrictions are fun. That's what keeps us thinking creatively.

    Edit 2: I took a look. My suggestion to you to get the "tougher" stuff still remains. You may or may not like the rest of SCS, but when it comes to brute content, I'm sure you could find something you enjoy.

    Dear Sergio, it honestly escapes me what are you referring to by 'brute content'. SCS is, by and large, an AI-enhancing mod (i. e., DavidW tries to avoid modifying the game 'stat-wise'), the two notable exceptions in BG2EE being 'naked Spellhold' and 'defenders of Ust Natha' tactical challenges, the latter of which is incorporated into this playthrough. The former is not, because a combination of Improved Asylum and 'naked Spellhold' is a bit too hardcore even for my liking (it's probably manageable with a party, but solo -- no, I don't think so, unless you are a sorcerer or, maybe, a monk).

    Out of which, only two components are really challenging (naked Spellhold and defenders of Ust Natha mentioned above), while the rest are, for the most part, either toned-down versions of Tactics and Ascension encounters, or AI improvements.

    In fact, Sergio, I strongly suspect you didn't read the main post (at least, not attentively enough). I know it's a bit long, and it might be difficult for you to cope with this amount of text, but the mods section is very concise and unequivocal. And yet, you are diabolically persistent in regards to the challenge supposedly _not incorporating_ SCS, and have clearly tried to discuss _Improved Firkraag component from Improved/Revised Battles_ instead of Rastor's Super Firkraag mod. Bottom line: I do not enjoy discussing things with people that are not sure what they are discussing in the first place. Needless to say, that's some kind of personal grudge against you.
