Crash on save during multiplayer

We are playing on the current steam version 1.3.2053 BG:EE

My system is:
CPU: i7-4770
Ram: 8GB
Win7 x64
Nvidia 560ti

Crash occurs every time we save in the Nashkel Mines, it may happen else where but our progress is halted.
Transitioning zones with an auto save also causes the crash. Note the crash Is only on the non host game and the host game recovers from the freeze when the clients disconnect.

Any ideas or links would be nice we are enjoying this playthrough

    Do you have your game set to listen to join requests? If so, try disabling that option and see if it fixes the problem.

    It seems to be a 1 way problem, with him hosting I don't crash on save. So this will work for now.

    Did try turning off listen to join requests, did not change the situation.
