Don't know if this is bug or 'feature', but it feels like a bug.

Expected Behavior: When a fight is over, all enemies are vanquished, party is healing up, and encounter music has stopped, player should be able to Quick-Save, Save, and/or Rest, regardless of buffs that are still active on some characters. After all, some buffs can last for hours.

Bugged behavior: Just finished the Helm of Balduran quest, with the re-match with summoned minions of Degrodel (AR 0161). Before/during the fight may two mages were buffed with Spirit Armor (2 game hours duration), as well as Prot from Evil and Mirror Image, and the party overall had Bless and Chant all of which are Pretty short (1-2 turns at these character levels).

As is my usual practice, after the battle, just after the combat music stopped and all opponents were definitely dead, I attempted a Quick Save. Denied. Waited, did some healing and looting, tried again. Denied. Tried a regular Save. Denied. Finished looting, went crosstown to my base at the Shop of Silence, where I attempted to Rest the party. Denied.

Stood around, sorting swords and other goodies, wondering if this was now a broken instance of the game. About 20 min later Spirit Armor wore off both my magic users. NOW the engine will let me save.

I cannot swear, but I'm almost certain that this delay is not enforced if your characters are using Ghost Armor. I am QUITE certain that it does not happen when walking around with the Armor spell active. So, is Spirit Armor bugged??

Yep, it's already reported. Have added the issue number.
    Thanks

The bug has any report, but can anyone from Beamdog confirm if and when the bug will be fixed?

*start rant* It's very annoying to have to wander around for two hours ingame without being able to save or rest. Without any possibility to save, I don't undertake anything I might potentionally want to reload, so I don't start fights, don't take decisions, I'm just wandering aroung aimlessly with my party right now waiting for the spell to wear of. With Berserk the same bug happens - damage is about to happen, but the spell won't save, but Berserk only lasts a few rounds. Spirit armour lasts 2 hours and without doing anything with any impact, waiting for 2 ingame hours feels like ages */end of rant*.

@Son_of_Imoen I can't help you with the first thing, but there is something of a workaround for the second. That is, if you don't mind using the console. You can always ctrl-t two hours forward. If you consider this cheating, of course you don't have to do it, but it's still an option.
