Does BG:EE use the sound set system from BG1 or BG2?

What the title says.
And is IWD:EE going to keep it's soundset system or is it gonna adapt the one from either BG:EE or BG2:EE?

    BG:EE uses the same soundset slots as BG2. The voice sets for BGEE that come with the game, however, are still limited to the old BG soundsets.

    Not sure what they will do for IWD:EE. I assume they would use the BGEE/BG2EE sound slots, since they are using the EE engine.
