Any way to change the multiplayer games so that when you start a new session it remembers your permission settings from previous games?

Afraid not @Elendar‌ I checked (reference 9141) and this is working as designed, on the basis that new joiners shouldn't automatically inherit permissions.

I understand where you are coming from (I get booted regularly in a multiplayer no-reload situation and lose talk, pause, etc. each time. Several times in an hour can be irritating). You might want to consider making a feature request for this, just bear in mind it might not be as straightforward as you first think since a 3-6 person game might well see you join in a different order each time, user "Fred" may not be Fred, and so on.

It's possible to change default permissions.

    baldur.ini, under [multiplayer], line:
Default Permissions=11111111 (this would offer all permissions by default, each can be 1 or 0)
