hey, i remember a long time ago i used to play BGII but had a hard time exploring the world map, mainly because unlike in BGI i can't just wander around it, im coming back to BGII with the EE, and was wandering if anyone has a list of the npc's and their locations that will let me travel to the non-main story areas?

thanks @bengoshi, but are there any non-party npc's that let me travel to areas of the world map? like the kid in athkatla who sends you to the umar hills to deal with the disappearing people problem, or is that kid the only one and everywhere else is accessible by party members and the main story?

You can also get sent to the Umar Hills through Valygar and the Cowled Wizards quest...
