it doesn't matter if i have the star at the top of the page checked(lit) or unchecked(not lit), i still get notifications from this thread :-(

Could a moderator unsubscribe me from this thread please?

    Check your notification settings in your profile. Maybe you have "Notify me when people comment on discussions I've participated in" set.
