1. Start a new game with a half-elf fighter cleric, and constitution of 18.
2. Respond to Hrothgar (1, 1).
3. Open the Record Screen (R).
Observed
Character has 13 hit points.
Expected
Character should have 12 hit points.
Note
At levels 2/2 the hit points are 26 instead of 24, levels 3/3 39 instead of 36, and so on.
Fighter gets 10 base hit points per level plus 4 from constitution bonus.
Cleric gets 8 base hit points per level plus 2 from constitution bonus.
Fighter/Cleric should get half fighter and half cleric, i.e. 5+2 and 4+1. Seems to get 5+2 and 4+2.
Original report
Hello everyone
im noticing a glitch with the progression of one of my character, a fighter/cleric with 18 constitution.
I don't know exactly when it happened but when it was level 8/8 its hp were more than 130 (and not 104 as i could expect). And after the cap where the hp should be no more decided by dice they are still growing more (they are close to my dwarven defender with 19 constitution!).
I checked my equip of course and tried to sleep for days.
The other characters seems to have the correct hp.
Thanks for your help

Thanks
The first one (Daeveloniwd 001) is from the beginning, and everything was ok.
The second one (Daeveloniwd 002) is taken from the Severed Hand, and it's the place where i noticed the issue.
The Quicksave it's the situation at this moment (im in the Trial of the Luremaster)
Thank you
If their script bugged out and they were using it on you instead of the boneguards, it would make sense.
Your F/C is getting 13hp per level, should be 12hp.
- Fighter gets 10+4
- Cleric gets 8+2
- Fighter / Cleric multi should get 5+2 plus 4+1.
That doesn't explain why you get to 147hp though, did you export / import to get to Lonelywood?
I started from the beginning and im going through all the game without importing or exporting. Anyway i thought that the hp were the average from 10 (fighter) and 8 (cleric) and then +4 as bonus of constitution...
But i think i was wrong:D
In the meantime I'll play around in the Severed Hand
I have a save i was using for testing that i included just go down stairs and do the fight in the lower room a couple times as it didn't happen every time to me
Once a thread gets marked with a bug number (like this) it tends to get identified with that one bug (the initial report). No one is going to remember to come back here even though there's a second bug the thread is dealing with.
Split it off, create a new thread....it'll get more attention that way.
I think it's a bug, but it's not commonly known as a bug, so I don't understand why in IWDEE it should be a bug.
Just looked it up, it is on p44 of the 2E players handbook, under "Multi-Class Benefits and Restrictions" it says: "When the character is first created, the player rolls hit points for each class separately, totals them up, then divides by the number of dice rolled... Any Constitution bonus is then added to the character's hit points. If one of the character's classes is fighter and he has a Constitution of 17 or 18, then he gains the +3 or +4 Constitution bonus available only to warriors (instead of the +2 maximum available to other character classes)."
