windows 7 - game won't finish downloading

in Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition
I have the beamdog software and have been trying to install icewind dale enhanced edition for a couple of days. I have uninstalled and tried a couple of times.
the download sits at 97.8%complete and stalls.
any thoughts?

    Are you using the stand alone download or the Beamdog client?

    Does the downloading stall or does the whole thing freeze up? I originally had a problem with the standalone launcher where it stalled near completion. Deleting the .beam file and relaunching it did the trick for me.

    I tried installing it without the beamdog client and it looked like it was downloading but was stuck at near completion. I uninstalled what was already done, then downloaded the beamdog client. It looked like it was still trying to download while it sat at 97.8% weird...I am going to try superliminaldude's suggestion and see what happens

    the beamdog client is saying limited connectivity; one or more games can't be downloaded...did a speedtest and am getting 120+mbps download...is it connectivity on their end?

    Did you try pausing and continuing. Also try logging out and reentering your login and password if you have it defaulted to save your info.

    I had the same problem on the launch day. It worked when i deleted my install and started again, not sure why.

    Under the Data folder, delete 798.beam & 798.status - then relauch the Beamdog client or the game.

    OK...I uninstalled everything...cleaned out .beam and .status files...uninstalled beamdog client, reinstalled beamdog client. then I started the install again...it was going GREAT until I hit 97.7% and the download rate crashed and the download stalled...I paused the download and then restarted it...download rate says about 4.39Kb/s and overall progress is 97.7% has been for about an hour and no progress is being made.

    I am about to contact beamdog and ask for a refund...this is too frustrating...

    I wanted everyone to know...thanks for the help...Beamdog helped me solve this. I am grateful for their and your help! I have finally downloaded it and have been playing...YEAAAA!!! Thanks again!

    Could you let us know the cause/resolution so that others who have the same issue get get some answers please?

    Was it port related?

    My resolution was that beamdog gave me a Steam code for the game. So I don't know if there was a computer based solution.
