IWD Bards 11th level Power Level

Inside Dorn..... getting my ass handed to me then the Bard levels up and I can now plow through everyone. The power shift here ridiculous. I'm glad I dragged this guy along for 11 levels.

I noticed much the same thing, although I'd urge you not to underestimate Tymora's Melody either. +4 (total) to all saves is quite nice against certain enemies, even if it's clearly not as universally useful as the War Chant of Sith.

I just started a new party with my "Charname" as a skald, and, I must say, the skald bonuses to AC and to hit as a constant, steady, "old reliable" song through the whole saga are starting to appeal to me a lot more than the idea of a song that will provide "OP" bonuses at level 11. Especially since my skald will get double the "old reliable" bonuses to the party only four levels later at level 15.

Both a Skald and a Bard are wonderful in IWDEE. It's a matter of taste.

In my first run I use the Bard and enjoy changing his songs very much. The regeneration is a nice addition.

In the second run I will use the Skald. This is one of the pluses of IWDEE. You can try many options with each playthrouh - the 6 party places give many possibilities.
