Trials of the Luremaster Flawed to Flawless Gems?

I don't know what's up but once my characters place the flawed gems on their respective altars, they don't change to flawless gems. It worked for the 'Heaven' gem but not the others. Does anyone know a solution of the item code for gems? do they exist?

    If I recall correctly, you're not supposed to place the gems on the altars. You're supposed to put them in the special chest and then they become flawless. Or is that not your problem?

    @OlvynChuru is correct. Like everything else in the Luremaster's domain, there's a trick involved. Look for the chest that suggests changes in its name.

    By the way, if you had a gem change without using the chest, that's a bug the devs need to be told about.
