Skald song is tiny?

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
My skald in IWD: EE is a beast that brought a lot to the table, but in BG: EE this just isn't the case. The song randomly doesn't apply to team members even standing directly next to the bard and the AoE of the song is tiny. I can't even keep it up on ranged and melee at the same time unless they are all clumped up. Why does the skald here suck so bad?

    This happens because the radius of all bard songs in IWDEE was greatly increased. It would be nice to have the same radius in BGEE and BG2EE.
