Thief paper doll special colors?

Has anyone noticed that Thieves get special default colors for their clothing? I tried pregenerating a generic female Thief and an Assassin. First one got ice blue (major) and yellow (minor), while the latter got midnight black (major) and lavender (minor). Neither of these colors are available to select manually. Is this something new to the Enhanced Editon, and does any other class get it?

A lot of classes and kits get special default colors. I believe the feature was added to BG:EE as of v. 1.3. It was carried through to Icewind Dale: EE. We're still waiting for it in BG2:EE, although an exported/imported character file would probably carry the custom colors over.

I applaud the feature, but since I like to change colors frequently and freely, what I really want to see is to have all custom colors available in the engine selectable in-game.

Yes its new. Different kits (of all the different classes) get different colours. My favourite is the dragon disciple one personally.

I like the wild Mage.
I would like to be able to pick colors from a color weel though, not just the few choices we have now.

I always use the EEkeeper to give my characters unique colours. Also, I spent one day after that update to BG1EE that included the new colours for specific classes and kits only to create new characters and to see how they look like based on their class/kit. It was fun!

The all-golden enhanter was superb!
