Ascension restored baalspawn powers and unfinished business

I've just installed weimers Ascension v1.4.24 on a basic bg 2 installation and from what I remember reading a few years back. The restored baalspawn powers in that installation are bugged.. I know Unfinished business has the proper working powers.

However my question is will the UB installation fix and overwrite that segment or will I have to manually delete some files and then install UB?

This is not BG2 EE so I apologize for any inconvenience.
