In app purchase failed - iPad Air 2

My credit card works just fine in iTunes, because I can purchase from the iTunes without a problem, but every time that I try to make an in app purchase in Baldur's Gate 1 or 2, the purchase keeps failing. I tried restarting the iPad, closing the game and trying to purchase from the store from both games and from different areas (main menu or in-game menu) to no avail, the in app purchase of characters just keeps failing to complete.

Did anyone encounter this issue and found a fix for it?

P.S: I also logged in a ticket in Apple support just to make sure.

    I never had this issue.
    I'm aware of a similar issue with old iPad 1, but nothing like this for the newer iPad.

    Do you have in-app purchases set to restricted? Looks like iTunes is split out from apps so that could be enabled while other apps are disabled.

    Restriction is the first thing I've checked, but thanks for trying to help!

    I already went over everything in the Apple's FAQ, this definitely looks like transaction-related.

    It seems there is an issue with the finger ID feature in Apple's Air 2 / Mini 3 and BG2 - I was able to successfully purchase the in app items via an older iPad (iPad 3).
